Putting on the angle attachment is a bit of a challenge trying to get everything lined up. I have only used my Roto zip on a couple items but it did what I needed very effectively. I normally would have used my dermal for this as I did on the other toilet but it took numerous wheels to get it done where the zip did it fast and the wheel held up well. Things to keep in mind when purchasing one, the guy at home depot told me the RZ5 had everything it needed except the wood blade, so I spent the 30 bucks on a blade got home only to find out there is another attachment needed with the wood blade, I went back and bought the attachment and it came with a blade for just a few dollars more. There is a bit of a site problem so you have to get pretty close to your cutting surface to see where you are going. On sheet rock, what it was originally designed to do.

I did like the bag it came with but with buying some of the extras I am already out grown that bag and bought another one. First job was using the metal cut off wheel to remove rusted bolts on a toilet. Mine, even though I bought it the other day did not have the built in chuck so changing from one set up to another takes a few minutes. it is fast and easy and I only wished I had one when I was working on larger projects using sheet rock. I have not used it on wood yet but will be doing a floor soon so we will find out. If there is a down fall it's just setting it up do to the project or cut different materials.

All in all I like the rotozip and it will be a fine addition to my tool family and I can't wait to try it on tile and wood projects in the future.

Kitchen cabinets proved to be too strong of a material for it to cut through easily. I have heard good things from people and articles about the Rotozip. I went out and bought one for a remodeling project and was disappointed in its ability to cleanly cut through some wood. Laminate wood flooring also defeated it too. It is also very loud and doesn't feel like it was made to last.

This tool is an accident wating to happen---it's a shoddy and dangerous, in my opinion. Within less than 5 minutes of actual use, one bit came loose and nearly fell out, 2 different bits got stuck in the chuck, requiring that I take the thing apart and use various wrenches to free them (so much for the "keyless" system). On top of that, the guide device (the thing that keeps it a fixed distance off of the workspace) did not attach securely, making the tool nearly impossible to control and making it hard not to break the bits (I broke 1 and was lucky not to break another). I wouldn't recommend it if it were $20, let alone $100 (the price at my local Home Depot). I wasted half a day on this worthless tool and I'm POed at Home Depot for even carrying such garbage.

This thing has tons of torque. No matter. I really should have reviewed this sooner. Combined with the high speed, multiple bits, and cut off saw I've eliminated the need for at least two (if not three) other tools. Better later than not at all.First, my initial impression was "It's heavy, but small. I bet this won't do what I need."I was WRONG. I can use it for plunge cuts, jig saw cuts, router type cuts, and of course the cut-off attachment which has taken the place of a FRP saw, metal saw, and die grinder. I love this thing.Awesome.
